Flipping is a process or an act of throwing things up in the air, it can also be referred to as tossing. Meanwhile, a coin is known to be a flat metal which is a little small and considered as a legal tender for medium of exchange. It is used officially as or for money, and produced by the government of a particular country. The coin is different from one country to another. This means that the coin of region A is not the same as that of region B, to avoid conflicting issues that may arise if they are the same or resemble. Though, their name might be the same, but the structure or design will be different and this was the reason why it always contains the seal of the government of the producing country.

The coin is important, and, it is often made special. Its importance is numerous, this is from being a legal tender for medium of exchange to resolving tough decision. Now, some examples of the coins according to the place of production and usage are

Therefore, flipping a coin can simply be referred to as the act of throwing or tossing a coin up in the air. The method of flipping a coin in solving tough decisions is widely accepted and adopted by many organizations or sectors, of which sport sector is a good and known example.

Generally, when a game or match is about to start in a football match, a coin will be flipped or tossed by the referee to determine which side of the pitch each team will start from, and to know which team will pass the ball first. This act has really prevented or solved many problems that would have resulted in chaos. It has also been adopted where there is an argument between two parties, people or teams, on whom to pick or do something first.

Hence, people should know that, although flipping of coin is actually good at making decision or solving problem, it should not be adopted or considered as the only or best means of solving problems or issues. Nonetheless, the method is excellent at making quick and prompt decision on issues that can't wait for long. And finally, in some countries, the coin is no longer use or consider as a legal tender for carrying out transactions.
